A sub brand of Michell 1870, ‘Michell
Yarn’ provides yarn to other fabric
makers. This is the treated raw material
used to make wool fabrics. A new brand
was created that tied in closely with the
Michell 1870 sister brand. Using the
same unique typeface developed by Mash
a simple printed concertina brochure
was created that reflected the quality
and technological nature of Michell Yarn.
This printed piece served to introduce
communicate the features and benefits
of the product. One colour printing
on a specialty uncoated paper with
environmental credentials bought the
geometric interpretations of the yarn
spindle to life.
