The client supplied a brief with a need to
capture the history of the Barossa Valley.
Our approach was to look at the less
obvious, to look at the anonymous
characters that have come and gone in
previous generations. This was inspired
by the unmarked graves in the region,
the unknown and forgotten people that
played a part in creating the Barossa of
today. The method was to search and
search and search... for old random photos
taken from the Barossa and surrounding
areas featuring the forgotten characters
of times gone by. Each image was applied
to both packaging and business cards.
6 different photos were used for the cards,
so the recipient would possibly receive a
different photo each time they received
a card.

This project was awarded distinction
award at the 2006 AGDA National
Biennial Awards.
